ENT Services at Clay Center Family Physicians

ENT Services at Clay Center Family Physicians in August

Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) is excited to announce ear, nose, and throat (ENT) services at Clay Center Family Physicians (CCFP) will begin serving patients out of the new clinic space this month.

Dr. Eric Purdom has served the Clay County region as an independent contractor since 2012, providing ENT care to local patients for more than a decade. With this transition, both Dr. Purdom and Carissa Horton, PA-C are now officially part of the CCMC team.

“This is a great step forward for both our patients and the hospital,” said Dr. Purdom. “I’ve been fortunate to care for patients in this community for many years, and I’m excited to continue doing so now as part of the CCMC family.”

Patients experiencing sinus issues, ear infections, hearing loss, tonsil concerns, or other ENT-related conditions can receive expert care close to home.

Carissa Horton, PA-C added, “We’re here to offer the same high-quality care patients would receive in a larger city, but with the comfort and personalized attention of a small-town clinic.”

By expanding specialty services, CCMC continues its mission to meet the growing healthcare needs of north-central Kansas.

“This is an exciting development for our community,” said Austin Gillard, CEO of Clay County Medical Center. “Having Dr. Purdom and Carissa Horton officially join the CCMC team means patients will receive coordinated care, better access to scheduling, and a seamless experience from diagnosis to treatment. We’re continually looking for ways to bring more services closer to home, and ENT is an important part of that vision.”
